All of Kiptyn's doc appts

Wednesday was physical therapy for his torticollis. It was definitely interesting. The receptionist asked if he was there for speech therapy, I thought that was pretty funny as he is sleeping in his carrier. The therapist was very nice and she worked with him doing some stretches and assessment. We have to go back once a week for 4 weeks and then assess again. She gave us home stretches and exercises to do at home. We hope that he doesn't have to wear a helmet as one side of his head is flat. Apparently it messes up their ear flow which causes more ear infections, sinus problems and one other thing. Lets hope we don't get to that point, especially now that it is warm outside.
On Thursday we saw the GI doctor and spoke with him about his reflux and his screaming. He wants to do some tests to see if it is really even reflux or something else is going on. With the meds that he is on, he should be doing ok. On Monday he is getting an esophageal pH monitor or called an impedance monitor. This is what is says it does: It provides direct physiologic measurement of acid in the esophagusand is the most objective method to document reflux disease, assess the severity of the disease and monitor the response of the disease to medical or surgical treatment.

He will get the monitor put in on Monday morning and then we go back on Tuesday for the removal of it. I will take some pictures when he has it in. I have no idea what this entails and can't find the info online anywhere. I'm sure he will be a happy boy then! ha.

Then we have PT on Wednesday again. So glad I am keeping busy running from doctor to doctor.

We will update about these later!
